Brand Division

In 2008, we launched our Brand Division when acquiring exclusive development & commercialization rights to, two early-phase, novel, proprietary compounds in the area of oncology. This division is focused on New Chemical Entities (NCEs), which provide for unmet medical needs. We’re dedicated to building our branded portfolio through internal development; as well as, licensing & acquisition. Through our worldwide strategic alliances, these products will be distributed and/or licensed on a worldwide, or territory-specific basis.

In 2009, to expand our portfolio of products, we entered into an agreement with an overseas pharmaceutical company to represent their proprietary products in North America. Through this agreement, we will select specific products to develop internally, while simultaneously, identifying partners to co-develop/sub-license the remaining products.

In May 2009, we entered into an exclusive license agreement with a US-based company to identify Asian partners for an OB/GYN product, which is currently under development in North America.

Expansion is currently ongoing, in anticipation of adding needed support to carry out more brand activities including: the acquisition of an NDA indicated for maintenance therapy of acute lymphatic leukemia (for more information, click here: Purinethol), and a 505(b)(2) with various oncological indications.

Our core, branded therapeutic categories include: oncology, CNS, GI, cardiovascular, and certain orphan indications. Our affiliates have launched or are in the progress of launching biosimilars in certain Asian markets.
